“It is not for us to feel shame - it’s for them.”

As part of our collective awakening, we are living through extraordinary cycles of evolution including many karmic endings & beginnings. I believe a massive karmic cycle is closing around sexual shame in women’s bodies.

Last week, at the beginning of Scorpio season, Gisele Pelicot took the witness stand for the second time in her public rape trial against her now ex-husband. Gisele insisted upon an open trial & media coverage despite invasive and grueling footage of a decade of gang rapes, to have the impact she is seeking - to “change society”. Her courage, and in her words, her “will and determination” is changing the fabric of our reality and resonating globally. And her message is that the shame doesn’t belong to us. I am taking this one step further and saying that the collective wound around the feminine shall no longer live in our bodies.

For me, Gisele’s determination and truth is a Joan of Arc moment. It is not political. It is karmic.

For me, it is also personal. Gisele’s clarity of truth & purpose feels connected to a similar wave and "time-out-of-time" movement, the revolutionary Woman, Life, Freedom movement in modern day Iran, the home country of my ancestors.

This upcoming New Moon in Scorpio, perfectly aligned with a time of year where the veils are 'thin' (Samhain/Dia de Los Muertos), is a potent window to facilitate this release. We are being offered an invitation to put down a karmic and collective shame that never belonged to us. To return to our innocence. We will be doing so lovingly, and with the help & support of our ancestors.
